Foxcon Aviation Manufacturer of High Performance Composite Aircraft in Queensland Australia

D-Motor - Lycoming - Subaru - Rotax

D-Motor LF26 engine is based on the proven technology of the 4-stroke Boxer engine, and has been developed with more advanced technology such as direct injection, dual spark plug ignition with high quality technically advanced materials. Combined with an extensive engineering of the crankshaft and connecting rods, this engine developed into a very low weight and compact powerplant..

Foxcon expects arrival of this new Engine in March 2012

Lycoming IO-233-LSA engine is a fully air cooled direct drive piston engine delivery 2800 RPM at maximum power output.

TBO 2,000hrs - Weight 100kg - Fuel consumption 20ltr/hr - Power 116hp

Subaru EA81 engines are a water cooled horizontally opposed piston engine. The cylinder heads as well as the pistons are water cooled providing uniform cooling even in high outside air temperature condiions. The Foxcon manufactured Reduction drive (2.2:1) reduces the RPM needed by the 72" propeller.

TBO 2,000hrs - Weight 78kg - Fuel consumption 13ltr/hr - Power 100hp

Rotax
912 S series engines are a combination of air cooled & water cooled. The pistons are air cooled the heads are water cooled. The Rotax uses a gearbox to reduce RPM to the prop since the engine will turn 5800 or so vs the 2700 needed by the prop.

TBO 2,000hrs - Weight 63kg - Fuel consumption 20ltr/hr - Power 100hp
