FOXCON AVIATION & RESEARCH PTY LTD

Manufacturer of High Performance Composite Aircraft in Queensland, Australia.

Australia’s most advanced Aircraft:

The TERRIER 200 is Australian designed and manufactured using vacuum moulded composite materials (sandwich construction), which offer light weight but at the same time make it a very sturdy aircraft with high structural integrity. The high performance 2-seat aircraft is easy to fly, very economic to run and requires minimum maintenance. It has one of the most spacious and comfortable cabins, making it a serious touring plane. The design incorporates clean aerodynamic lines of the fuselage and wings as well as features like a free-casting front wheel that makes ground manoeuvring a delight. The flaps ensure short take-off and landing distances

The TERRIER 200 is usually fitted with the extremely reliable Subaru engine. Cruise speed is 110 knots with a fuel consumption of approx. 13 - 14 Liters per hour.

The TERRIER 200 comes as an easy build kit, that can be completed by amateur builders within 300 hours.

The TERRIER 200 can be registered in the Ultralight/Recreational/Sportsaircraft or GA/Experimental category giving you the advantage of flying a high performance aircraft at a truly affordable cost!

Company History

Foxcon Aviation was founded in 1995 in Mackay, QLD, Australia with the aim to manufacture extremely competitive high performance light aircraft at an affordable price.

Since then we have come a long way: Our factory space has been extended to three times its original size, complete with a climate controlled vacuum moulding unit and we proudly manufactured nearly 100 aircraft. Most TERRIER aircraft are flying in Australia but exports to New Zealand and places as far away as Russia have steadily increased.

The recipe for our success is to keep the factory running costs (overheads) low. However no shortcuts are taken when it comes to using only the best materials and parts available on the market today.
